We have one very happy Boiga! Our brown tree snake has moved into her new digs and she loves it! It’s great to be able to set up bioactive enclosures that are not 100% glass, these new single piece pvc enclosures have proven to be worth getting in. This one is 900mm high 600mm deep and 600mm wide, soon we will have these available in our online shop for pick up from our office or delivery for a few. Postage via Australia Post will not be possible due to the sizes.

We have been working with Modern-rium to get this looking so good. Just let us know if you are interested in more information about our new enclosures as we are placing an order soon.

We have recently added a few free downloads to our online shop at www.snakehandler.com.au its a new section in our catalogue and designed to be updated with new care sheets, breeding sheets, handy information and intersting articles.....This includes a free detailed description on ways to reduce the transfer of fungal disease to reptiles both in the wild and within you own collection. We strongly suggest that any catcher or herper have a look at this, read through it and make sure you are not part of the problem by your actions (or lack of actions)

Online theory and a full day of snake handling! We bring along a variety of reptiles for you to work with, capped at 8 people, you get to work with a variety of lizards, pythons and elapids.

With our 900mm high x 600mm deep and 600mm wide single piece PVC enclosures we are able to do some wonderful things, this one has just been finished and will be for some Brown Tree Snakes (Boiga irregularis)

Snakehandler are happy to offer its Nationally Accredited training course in handling venomous snakes, this involves around 8-10 hours of online theory and then a day of 8-10 hours of practical handling skills.

Established in 2005, running the only nationally accredited training specific to handling venomous snakes in Australia since 2009. We get booked out fast as we only take 8 participants in a day! More time for you to work with the animals.
