Well, 2026 is already well underway — hard to believe we’re two months in.

A sincere thank you to our incredible casual team members who stepped away from their full-time roles to support operations while I’ve been recovering from injury. Because of their commitment and professionalism, we’ve been able to fulfil approximately 95% of our scheduled commitments during this period. That level of dedication does not go unnoticed, and I’m extremely grateful.

I’m now back on deck — not quite at 100%, but steadily improving. It’s remarkable how one simple step can change everything. Over the past few weeks we’ve resumed training activities, and it’s been great to be back on my feet and actively involved again.

On another exciting note, Snakehandler has just taken delivery of our brand-new enclosures — and they look outstanding. These units feature:
• Custom 3D printed handles
• Lockable access points
• Safety glass panels
• Single-piece moulded plastic construction for easy cleaning

At present, we’ve installed basic materials and substrate to get them operational. The next stage will include fully bioactive setups and integrated misting systems. The use of moulded plastic instead of melamine makes these enclosures better because there are no joins and no materials to swell, they are safer than traditional glass builds and significantly easier to maintain.

Our next goal is to make these enclosures available to you. Pricing will be released shortly, and we’ll begin taking orders in the near future.

Thank you again for your continued support — exciting things ahead for 2026.

People often ask why I do what I do, it’s being part of someone’s development in an area that I am passionate about, I love inspiring others to have good interactions with wildlife.
