Today's works on T342 and 3BS.

T342, Replaced faulty series contactor solenoid, great work by Rex repairing them.

Cleaned electrical cabinet, both sides as best as possible without using a high pressure cleaner. 🤣

Vacuumed cab of T342, cleared out cob webs and spiders .

Painted auxiliary power supply outlet and put a chain and padlock on for 3BS

Floated batteries on both vehicles.

Fixed brake adjusting F spanner for T342 as it was dirty and jammed up

What a beast, then there's S307 sitting alongside 😅🤣

Sorry not many photos but a highly productive day. The last power contactor was serviced and it was discovered that all the base plates were put back on wrong by previous servicing. With a short discussion with Ian their correct position was noted and all 3 are now in their correct alignment. More rusted pieces were sucked out from the bottom of the electrical cabinet. We unfortunately noticed that one of the uprights for the electrical panel had broken away from the floor. We have devised a plan for repairs at our earliest possibility . Next working bee 25th October and we will have Brandon Parsons assisting and teaching us some things.
