Your program isnโ€™t the problemโ€ฆ itโ€™s thisโ€ฆ

Everyoneโ€™s chasing the โ€œperfectโ€ plan.

New split.
New exercises.
New system.

But nothing changes.

Because the issue isnโ€™t what youโ€™re doingโ€ฆ

Itโ€™s how youโ€™re doing it.

Be honest:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Are you actually training with intent, or just going through the motions?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Are you progressing your lifts, or repeating the same weights every week?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Are you finishing sessions knowing you pushed, or just ticking a box?

A basic program done properly will outperform a perfect program done poorly.

Every time.

Ex*****on.
Effort.
Consistency.

Thatโ€™s the difference.

Stop looking for a better planโ€ฆ

Start becoming someone who gets results from any plan.

If youโ€™re ready to train properly and actually progress this yearโ€ฆ

Never forget where you came from.

This guy, Markos, was the catalyst for not only our journey in the sport but for the golden decade of Australian Powerlifting.

We will never forget you.

RIP

Our thoughts are with Nina, Max, Jessie and the girls. โค๏ธ

Dan, Paul and the W.A. Powerlifting Communtiy

Today we honour the life of Markos Markopoulos, founder and owner of GPC Australia, and a true pioneer of powerlifting not only in this country but across the world.

Markos was not just part of the sport, he helped build it. From humble beginnings, he created platforms, competitions and opportunities that helped shape Australian powerlifting into what it is today. Events like GPC Competitons, ProRaw and Big Dogs were not just competitions, they became world class stages where the best came together, pushed limits and made history.

He had a presence that filled every room. A larger than life personality, a sharp sense of humour and a passion for the sport that was unmatched. Markos had a way of bringing people together, lifters, coaches, officials and spectators, and turning them into a community, into a family.

So many of us owe our journey in this sport to him. He believed in people before they believed in themselves. He opened doors, created pathways and left a legacy that will continue to live on in every lift, every competition and every athlete who steps onto the platform.

The loss of Markos will be deeply felt across the entire powerlifting world.

From all of the members at GPC Australia, we send our love, strength and deepest condolences to Nina and the entire Markopoulos family. You are in our thoughts.

Rest in peace, Markos.
Your legacy will live on forever.

Some days you feel strong.
Some days you feel sharp.
Some daysโ€ฆ you feel flat, sluggish, and not up for it at all.

Thatโ€™s the day that matters most.

One of my clients said it best today:
โ€œFelt a bit sluggish, showed up & got it done.โ€

That right there is the difference.

Most people train when they feel good.
High performers train regardless.

โžก๏ธ They donโ€™t negotiate with their feelings
โžก๏ธ They donโ€™t wait for motivation
โžก๏ธ They donโ€™t chase perfect conditions

They show up. They execute. They build momentum.

Because discipline isnโ€™t about feeling readyโ€ฆ
Itโ€™s about doing the work anyway.

And over time, thatโ€™s what separates average from elite.

If you can master that โ€” you win.

Ready to build that standard for yourself?

Comment COACHME below and Iโ€™ll help you get started.

Most people are waiting to feel motivated.

Thatโ€™s the problem.

๐Œ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐.

Motivation comes and goes.

Some days you feel fired up. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Some days you feel tired, busy, stressed, or flat. ๐Ÿ˜ด

If your progress depends on motivationโ€ฆ

Your consistency will always be fragile.

The people who actually transform their bodies donโ€™t rely on motivation.

They rely on ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž and ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž.

They train because itโ€™s scheduled.
They eat well because itโ€™s planned.

Not because they โ€œfeel like itโ€.

Progress usually comes from the sessions you didnโ€™t feel like doing.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The workout after a long day
๐Ÿ‘‰ The walk when youโ€™re tired
๐Ÿ‘‰ The better food choice when junk would be easier

Stop asking:

โ€œAm I motivated today?โ€

Start asking:

โ€œWhat does the plan say?โ€

If you want ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž, ๐š๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, and ๐ง๐จ-๐๐’ ๐œ๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ โ€ฆ

The fastest way to kill your progress?

๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ-๐จ๐ซ-๐๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐“๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ .

It sounds like:

๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œIf I canโ€™t do it properly, I wonโ€™t do it.โ€
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œI missed Monday, so the weekโ€™s ruined.โ€
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œI already ate bad today, so stuff it.โ€

That mindset feels disciplined.

Itโ€™s not.

Itโ€™s emotional.

And itโ€™s why you keep starting over.

Hereโ€™s the shift:

๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐›๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ค๐ฌ.
Itโ€™s built in the messy ones.

๐Ÿ‘‰ 3 sessions instead of 4
๐Ÿ‘‰ A 30-min workout instead of 60
๐Ÿ‘‰ Hitting protein even if calories arenโ€™t perfect
๐Ÿ‘‰ Showing up tired instead of skipping

All-or-nothing people restart.

๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ญ people adjust.

If youโ€™re sick of the restart cycle and want structure, accountability and ๐ง๐จ-๐๐’ ๐œ๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  โ€”

Most people donโ€™t fail because they donโ€™t know what to do.

They fail because they ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ-๐ฌ๐š๐›๐จ๐ญ๐š๐ ๐ž.

Self-sabotage doesnโ€™t look dramatic.

It looks like:

๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œIโ€™ll start Monday.โ€
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œIโ€™ve already blown today.โ€
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œThis weekโ€™s been stressful.โ€
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œI deserve this.โ€

Itโ€™s not a knowledge problem.

Itโ€™s an ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง.

Youโ€™re tired. ๐Ÿ˜ด
Youโ€™re stressed. ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ
Youโ€™re frustrated with slow progress. ๐Ÿ“‰

So you eat.
You skip the session.
You promise youโ€™ll be better next week.

And the cycle repeats. ๐Ÿ”

Hereโ€™s the shift:

You donโ€™t need a new week.
You need the ๐ง๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐ž๐œ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง. โœ…

Strong people arenโ€™t perfect.

They just donโ€™t spiral.

If youโ€™re sick of getting in your own way and want ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž, ๐š๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, and ๐ง๐จ-๐๐’ ๐œ๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ โ€ฆ

January 1. A new year. Same choice.

Right now, people all over the world are talking about health and fitness goals.

Some will start.
Most will stop before the end of January.

Not because they canโ€™t do it.
But because they rely on motivation instead of structure, accountability, and a plan.

If youโ€™re sick of:

* Starting strong then fading out
* Guessing what to train
* Doing โ€œsomethingโ€ but not seeing results
* Donโ€™t be one of the statistics.

This is the year you do it properly.

Consistent. Structured. Coached.

If youโ€™re ready to stop mucking around and actually commit, Iโ€™ve got you.

Yesterday was a massive day for Aaliyah as she stepped onto the platform at a local APL meet here in Perth โ€” and absolutely nailed it.

What you saw on the platform wasnโ€™t luck.
It wasnโ€™t a โ€œgood dayโ€.
It was the expression of a preparation done right.
Every session. Every rep. Every detail. Bang on.

We built a smart, realistic comp plan and she executed it with complete discipline:

SQUAT
Best prep: 115kg @9
๐ŸŸข 1st: 105kg
๐ŸŸข 2nd: 112.5kg
๐ŸŸข 3rd: 117.5kg
Three for three. Absolute confidence.

BENCH PRESS
Best prep: 65kg paused
๐ŸŸข 1st: 60kg
๐ŸŸข 2nd: 65kg
๐ŸŸข 3rd: 70kg
Another three from three + comp PB.

DEADLIFT
Best prep: 130kg @9.5
๐ŸŸข 1st: 120kg
๐ŸŸข 2nd: 130kg
๐Ÿ”ด 3rd: 140kg (hitching)
Still a massive, gutsy attempt.

๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ Total: 317.5kg
๐Ÿ† Junior Female Champion

Couldnโ€™t be prouder.
She showed up, trusted the plan, and proved exactly what structured work can produce.

This is just the beginning. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Huge congrats Aaliyah โ€” enjoy the moment, you earned every bit of it.

Saw a guy post on FB the other day: โ€œThe fitness industry has a problem.โ€

And Iโ€™m sitting there likeโ€ฆ
โ€œNo fu***ng sh*t.โ€

Because letโ€™s be real โ€” the fitness industry doesnโ€™t just have a problem.

Itโ€™s got an entire laundry list of them.

โ˜ ๏ธ Fake experts.
โ˜ ๏ธ Shortcut culture.
โ˜ ๏ธ Influencers selling magic pills, 8-minute workouts and โ€œhacksโ€ instead of actual habits.
โ˜ ๏ธ Coaches whoโ€™ve never coached anyone outside of their camera roll.
โ˜ ๏ธ People complicating the basics so they can sell you the solution you didnโ€™t need in the first place.

Meanwhile, the people who genuinely need help โ€” the busy dads, the blokes over 30 and 40, the guys struggling with consistency, the men trying to get their strength, confidence and health back โ€” are left confused, overwhelmed, or feeling like theyโ€™ve already failed before they even start.

Iโ€™ve been in this industry long enough to see all of it.
The good. The bad. And the absolute circus.

And trust meโ€ฆ
Most people donโ€™t need more information โ€” they need proper guidance, accountability, and a plan that suits their actual life.

Over the years, Iโ€™ve trained hundreds of people through different stages of life โ€” injury, stress, shift work, kids, lack of motivation, you name it.

And every single time, the thing that moves the needle is NOT some fancy exercise or trending program.

โœ… Itโ€™s the fundamentals done well.
โœ… Itโ€™s training consistently โ€” even when life isnโ€™t perfect.
โœ… Itโ€™s nutrition that actually fits your lifestyle.
โœ… Itโ€™s honest conversations, not sugar-coating.
โœ… Itโ€™s someone in your corner who gives a damn and expects the best from you.

So yeahโ€ฆ the fitness industry has problems.
Massive ones.

But you donโ€™t have to be another casualty of it.

If youโ€™re a bloke whoโ€™s sick of trying to figure it out aloneโ€ฆ
If youโ€™re tired of starting over every few monthsโ€ฆ
If you want strength, confidence, better energy and a body that actually works for you rather than against youโ€ฆ

Send me a message.

I coach men who are ready to cut the excuses, stay accountable and finally get on a path that actually works.

No BS.
No gimmicks.
Just real coaching, real structure, and real results.

If youโ€™re ready โ€” reach out.
If not, save this for when you are.

Because your health isnโ€™t waiting.

๐Ÿš€ 4-WEEK COMPLIANCE WRAP-UP โ€” STRONG BY RUCCI TEAM RESULTS ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Every week, every rep, every logged sessionโ€ฆ it all adds up.

Over the last 4 weeks Iโ€™ve tracked the teamโ€™s 7-day compliance โ€” and the trend is undeniable:

๐Ÿ‘‰ The athletes who show up consistently are the athletes who are progressing the fastest.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Momentum isnโ€™t magic โ€” itโ€™s discipline.
๐Ÿ‘‰ And the last month showed exactly who is building that momentum.

๐Ÿ’ฏ THE 4-WEEK PERFECT COMPLIANCE CREW
These legends hit 100% compliance for ALL FOUR WEEKS โ€” elite discipline and elite standards:

Michelle Fenech
Glenn De Francesch
Kelly Lawson
Rob Hennessy
Sinead Faraguna

Thatโ€™s what high performance looks like.

๐Ÿ”ฅ BIGGEST IMPROVERS (Massive trend upwards!)
Scott Cahill โ†’ 16% โžœ 100%
Nathan Yacopetti โ†’ 0% โžœ 100%
Clark James โ†’ 84% โžœ 100%
Adam Dean โ†’ 23% โžœ 70%
Sebastian Cox โ†’ 19% โžœ 100%
Daniel Craine โ†’ Back to 100%
Jeff Tyloo โ†’ Three straight weeks at 100%

This is how you turn the corner. Not perfection โ€” progress.

โš ๏ธ If youโ€™ve been sitting in the yellow or redโ€ฆ

Remember this:
Youโ€™re always one good week away from rebuilding momentum.
Compliance is a skill. Discipline is built. And nothing changes until YOU decide to change it.

๐Ÿ”ฅ STRONG WORD TO FINISH
A huge congrats to the top performers โ€” your consistency sets the standard for this entire team.

And for everyone elseโ€ฆ the next 7 days are a fresh slate.
Show up. Lock in. Build your momentum.
