Today, we’re introducing Matt P**i, our Manager of Partnerships. With a diverse career spanning everything from construction and event planning to mentoring and partnership development, Matt brings a wealth of experience and a people-first approach to every relationship he builds.

From connecting partners with opportunities to helping create pathways for young people to thrive, Matt believes that when trust, collaboration and shared purpose come first, great outcomes follow.

What started as a mentor and mentee relationship has grown into something truly special.

Through challenges, achievements, setbacks and milestones, Skye and Indi have supported and learned from each other along the way.

A reminder that mentoring isn’t just about guiding someone, it’s about growing together.

Here’s to the journey, the growth and everything still to come.

Two years. Six new starters. One partnership making a difference.

For the past two years, Nudge and the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification (DEED) have proudly worked together to support the Mila Kaaditj Program — creating meaningful employment pathways for First Nation undergraduates while ensuring they have the support and encouragement they need to thrive.

In 2025, Year 1 of the partnership saw us collectively support 2 new starters as they took their first steps into their careers.

In 2026, that number has grown to 4 new starters.

That’s 6 people supported across two years — but the real success isn’t just the number.

It’s the confidence that grows.
The relationships that are built.
The challenges navigated.
The skills developed.
The conversations that happen when someone needs a bit of encouragement.
And the knowledge that someone is walking alongside you.

That’s what makes the Mila Kaaditj Program special.

We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Nudge and Anglicare WA 🎉

At Nudge, we’re passionate about creating meaningful pathways into employment, and this partnership is a perfect example of what can be achieved when organisations share the same values and commitment to supporting people in our community.

Together, we’ve developed a Service Access Officer Traineeship, providing an opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience, build valuable skills, and kick-start a rewarding career while making a genuine difference in the lives of others.

Anglicare WA has a long-standing reputation for supporting and empowering people through life’s challenges, and we’re proud to work alongside an organisation that shares our belief that employment can be a powerful catalyst for confidence, growth, and positive change.

This traineeship is more than just a job opportunity. It’s an investment in people, creating a pathway for individuals to learn, develop, and thrive while contributing to essential community services.

It’s always special to see where a mentoring journey can lead.

Today, we’re getting to know our Mentoring Manager, Acacia, whose journey with Nudge began as a mentor and has grown into a role where she now supports and empowers our mentoring team.

Her growth within the Nudge community is a wonderful example of what mentoring can be — a space to learn, connect, build confidence and grow together.

How has your experience as a mentor or mentee shaped the person you are today?

Nudge is proud to partner with Main Roads WA for the mentoring of mentees, trainees and apprentices for 2026.

This partnership has enjoyed good success after 6 months and is a work in progress and work in action.

Together, and with engaged supervisors, we're creating an environment where mentees are celebrated, supported, valued and set-up for success.

Together MRWA and Nudge are helping build the skilled, confident and connected workforce that our industry needs for the future.
