Byes this week for our A’s and B’s, but we’re still training! We want to see everyone bring their best this week to get the most out of the time we’ve got towards the pointy end of the season!

Please note for our U9’s and U11’s, this will be the last week of training due to the annual SFL Mini’s Carnival this Sunday, hosted at the club! U14 Girls will have a couple more games to go before season end, and AusKick for Term 3 returns soon! Keep and eye out on the club feed for this info soon!

Oooohhh, we’re at the pointy end of the season now! For A’s and B’s, they’ve locked in top 4 spots and as a result, finals footy! As we’ve finished 4th after Round 14 in both grades, we’ve been granted 1 home game of the next 3 rounds.

SATURDAY 1ST OF AUGUST; Round 15
C Grade: 10:15am vs Houghton Districts at Houghton (regular season game, no round robin).
B’s and A’s: Bye.

SATURDAY 8TH OF AUGUST; Round 16
C Grade: 10:15am vs Gaza Eagles at Gaza.
B’s and A’s: Double Header vs Mitchell Park at Mitchell Park from midday.

SATURDAY 15TH OF AUGUST; Round 17
C Grade: 10:15am vs Para Hills at HOME (last regular season game for the C Grade due to a bye the week after).
B’s and A’s: Double Header Vs Central United at Central United from midday.

SATURDAY 22ND OF AUGUST: Round 18
C Grade; Bye - no finals.
B’s and A’s: Double Header vs Adelaide Lutheran at HOME from midday.

We then go STRAIGHT into finals games for the A’s and B’s, in line with the rest of Divisions 1-6, see how it works below! 👇🏼

SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST: Finals Round 1 - 1st place with a bye, positions 2-5 play off, one team eliminated.
SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER: Finals Round 2 - final 4 teams play off including 1st position, 1 team straight through to grand final, 1 team eliminated.
SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER: Preliminary Round - loser of Qualifying Game 1 plays winner of Elimination Game 2 for place in Grand Final the week after.
SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER: Grand Final - final two teams, location TBD.

Our C Graders are playing a stand-alone game at Home against Trinity OS tomorrow at 10:15am - make sure you’re there to support the boys on their home deck, before we head to Flinders Uni for the B’s and A’s!

Also, one of our favourite hawks, Marc Old, is celebrating his 200th Senior Game. Marc has played for many clubs, but has always come home, and 200 games is a fantastic achievement many players don’t see in their careers. Well done mate, go well! 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼
