Hello good people

Its been a while since we last mixed with you. We trust you are doing well in all your areas of life.

Today we would like to encourage young farmers to take up Rabbit Farming ( Cuniculture) as a new venture. Our endeavor is to contribute largely to livelihoods and food security in our nation and abroad.

A rabbit farm is easy to start and among its merits are the facts that it doesn't require too much capital. Secondly, the rabbits themselves are cheap to rear. In terms of feeds, one can run a successful rabbit farm with just fodder collected from the bush, field and garden without forking out money to buy feeds.

Rabbits also multiply at a much faster rate hence in numbers profit is made.

In terms of consumers' nutrition, it is a highly recommended source of protein. It has low fat and as such also recommended for special diets such as those of heart disease patients.

Lets take one or two moments and think about it. Lets popularize rabbit meat consumption among us and curb protein rich meat shortages. Lets keep rabbits for business as we have been doing with chickens.
