The 2026 Netball Season starts tomorrow…

Highly rated coach Tatenda ‘Ninja’ Shinya has rejoined Airforce side Chapungu Queens ahead of the 2026 season.

Shinya began his coaching career in 2011 at Chapungu (Manyame Falcon), making this a full-circle moment as he returns to the club where it all started.

He expressed his excitement about coming back home and leading the team into a new chapter.

The former Flow Angels coach has already set high expectations, promising a podium finish and a more entertaining brand of netball in the upcoming season.

Shinya’s return is expected to strengthen Chapungu Queens as they aim to compete strongly in 2026.

Chapungu finished in position three last season.n
