Happy children matter to a family

Schools are opening very soon.
Working in rural areas, we discovered how difficult this time was in the previous years when parents had to look for school fees and exam fees
Some children delayed reporting to school because parents had to deal with the pressure of fees accompanied by the pressure of farming.
Some esp girly, chose marriage. Some were deceived into s*x for money in order to make up for the fees.
Today, parents can prepare their children with a free mind.
We thank the government for this move as many children's lives and future have been saved.

We observe with great concern the threats on a number of pf MPs that voted for the bill.
As a democracy, Zambian constitution allows every citizen to make their democratic choice.
We expect every political party to respect and put measures in protecting their members from every threat therein.
These MPs are a representative of their people from their respective constituencies before anything. Therefore, they have the right to represent the voice of the people in their constituency.
Threatening them shows shows great undemocratic tendencies from their political party.
We urge that they be treated with respect and as much as it could be hard and painful, respect their democratic choice and right.

We don't really care which side of the politics you stand on
But, we need such young leaders especially girls in this country.

A letter to My President
Good morning Mr President.
Greetings to you and the family in the name of our lord Jesus. Allow me also to extend my special greetings to the able and hardworking, our beloved minister of education Hon Douglas Siakalima.
Dear Mr President, allow me first of all to commend you on the steps that you have taken as a father of this great nation to meet groups of that really mater. The meeting of the UPND youths and the church groups is commendable sir. It shows how much great care you have as a leader.
Sir, let me on behalf of all teachers commend you and the minister of education for the policy steps that you have undertaken to transform esp the education sector esp in rural areas among them,
1. Free education
2. Provision of desks
3. School grants
4. New skill based curriculum
5. ZNS voluntary training
6. Meal allowance in University etc
But sir, how nice it would be to meet the teachers from rural areas and hear their plight in person?
Rural teachers are going through a lot of challenges that is why some of those in urban would never want to go to rural areas. We know this is absurd request esp coming from a nobody as me BUT the love and desire these teachers have for you as their father is unmeasurable. The rural teacher is there in a place where there is no nurse, police officer, is there when where no Mp or councilor executing and sacrificing their lives in hardships. From the sands of western, crossing of the rivers in luapula, to the hills in Eastern, some of them have lived away from their families for years for the love of the job and ex*****on of your mighty vision to change the life of that village child. Many can be said our beloved President but this is just but a limited platform. But, how wonderful it would be to also meet you and air our experience to you as our father. If this is an impossible dream, please we request:
1. Review the rural hardship allowance maybe to K4000.This will also attract many to go into rural areas
Agriculture science will be a compulsory subject in the new curriculum
