The current state of roads in Kapiri Mposhi East Constituency is unacceptable.
From the Central Business District (C*D), to roads leading to the District Hospital, and across all the 11 wards, many of our roads have been neglected for years, making transportation difficult for businesses, patients, school children, farmers, and the general public.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia has established campaign timetables that all political parties and candidates are expected to respect. If Mayo Wabuyantanshi and her team had reacted to the provocative actions of Matutu and his supporters, the situation could have easily escalated into violence.
We commend Mayo Wabuyantanshi's team for exercising restraint and choosing peace over confrontation. We now call upon the ECZ to take decisive action against such conduct to ensure a level playing field for all candidates.
We reject violence and intimidation in our politics and remain committed to protecting our people and preserving peace throughout the campaign period.

How much longer must our people suffer?
How many more elections must pass before basic necessities become a priority?
For far too long, we have lived without good roads.
For far too long, we have lived without proper market shelters.
For far too long, we have struggled without reliable water supply.
For far too long, our young people have lacked a youth training centre to equip and empower them.
For far too long, we have cried out for solutions, yet our voices have gone unheard.

How can an entire constituency still lack even a Youth Skills Training Centre while our young people continue to struggle for opportunities?

Let us not forget how we were used and abandoned, only to be remembered when campaigns begin. Our communities deserve more than politics of convenience and empty promises.
What we need is a leader who stands with the people every day—not just during election season.
