Chizanga Ndiye zina...... one of the greatest and promising artists we had in Ndola.
I first met him in 2008 when I casted him in one of my early Films that never made it out. From there we became baddies and close. We would walk from Bonano to Lubuto planning together how we are going to invade the industry. Fast forward, by the Grace of GOD,I joined Zambia Police in 2009 and the project couldn't continue.
But when I came back in 2010,I found my friend Chizanga has taken Ndola and Copperbelt by storm with his unique style of Music. I was very happy for him and I would play his music mu Kamfinsa like no man's business and everyone who listened to his songs, would fall in love instantly. His fire continued burning and we all thought he will blow up Nationwide. But ukwisadabwafye umuntu aluba pa seen,all his phones off,even me who was close to him didn't have his phone number.
Until recently,I found him and he was not the Chizanga I grew up with💔 He was no longer the passionate and hardworking artist I knew and he had literally stopped and given up on music. As a brother and a huge fan of him,I scheduled for day to talk to him about his life and his career and what he revealed to me,I totally understood him. Ala entertainment industry mwandi is a thorn in artists flesh. He was betrayed,blocked and he decided to quit.But me being me,I shared my similar story iyama frustrations mu industry and how I have managed to be on top of my game despite the mountains in front of me. And I then convinced him to come and perform ku Premier this Saturday and he will briefly explain why he had to quit music.
