Francis Kapwepwe, popularly known as "Why Me," has appeared before Magistrate Mungala to respond to charges related to hate speech. He faces three counts of Hate speech and Expressing or showing hatred.

The case has been adjourned to August 26, 2025, as the Director of Public Prosecution's consent is still pending, which is required before the plea can be taken. Source ZNBC Today

PARDONING OF A DEFILER WAS DONE IN 2020.

There is an article in the media being spread by a gentleman called Remmy Kangwa suggesting that the current President of Zambia had pardoned a defiler who only served a 1 year sentence from his 30-year sentence

It is important that such an individual get his facts right by accessing correct information and not spread lies.Winstone Kabinda, the defiler, was pardoned on May 2020 a year before President Hakainde Hichilema taking office.

The current President assumed office in September 2021. It is rather unfortunate that an individual would rush to media without facts for the sake of trying to build his page.

Citizens, please refer to the Government Gazzette published in May 2020 that clearly shows that no such action happened under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema but done in the previous regime.

I can only advise citizens to be careful when reading articles written by overzealous individuals who want to tarnish the image of the New Dawn Government without verifying information .
