• Patrolling of premises – Done randomly every half an hour by security on duty.
• Alcohol Testing - Upon request of client.
• Security Audits – Conducted every three months to identify problem areas.

1. As result of the high unemployment and poor economical state in South Africa, the Private Sector more often become the victims of organized crimes that mostly occur within the companies.

2. Due to the fact that companies are production orientated, they are mostly unaware of criminal activities within their own companies.

3. In some instances where they are aware of the criminal activities, they do not have the means to deal with such activities.

4. Due to the fact that the Police forces do not have the manpower to assist companies in order to oppose the crime activities in their environment, companies are having greater losses, which are not affordable.

5. This was the result that a need occurred for Security Companies to provide protection to company assets and employees.

6. Security Companies rendered services to companies and in this attempt; incompetent security personnel were utilized to protect the assets of Companies and their employees, but with NO success.

7. Security personnel are also not always compensated accordingly, and this is undoubtedly the main reason why the Security personnel are getting involved in the criminal activities.

Employees are employed without prior screening and in most instances it was later discovered, that after great losses to the company, the employee had several criminal records, and was actually a security risk when employed.
