Solomon Mahlangu didn’t die because he was weak.

He died because he was brave enough to fight a system built on Black suffering.
In 1977, Solomon Mahlangu was identified in a police lineup not because his people betrayed him willingly, but because apartheid police tortured and forced his own relative to point him out.

That’s how evil apartheid was:
It didn’t just jail you…
It used pain to turn families into weapons.
Today, we must learn something powerful from this.
Our brother was not the problem.
The system was.
So when we speak about Solomon Mahlangu, we must speak with pride.
We must own him.
We must defend his name.
We must protect the legacy of those who refused to bow.

Because if we don’t honor our heroes, we will keep raising generations that don’t understand what freedom cost.

Do we still recognize our brothers today and stand with them or do we only celebrate them when they’re gone?
