It was a pleasure to host eNCAnews at our Emergency Operations Centre in Sunninghill, Johannesburg, showcasing the life-saving protocols that support our emergency response teams, including video call guidance that empowers bystanders to assist in an emergency while paramedics are en route.

When a critically ill paediatric patient suffering from respiratory failure required urgent transfer to a specialised facility in Waterfall, Netcare 1 took to the skies to ensure rapid access to advanced care.
Supporting the operation was the Netcare 911 Rescue 1 team on the ground, which remained on standby to provide specialised rescue and scene safety support.
💡 Did you know? The Rescue 1 is specially equipped for a range of technical rescue operations, including motor vehicle extrication, high-angle rescue, swift water rescue and confined space rescue.
