Our Foundation Phase learners started their day with a vibrant Colour Picnic, enjoying a fun-filled morning of friendship, laughter, and shared experiences. The colourful atmosphere brought an extra sense of excitement to the school day as learners gathered together to connect and celebrate being part of the Curro Rivonia community.

A wonderful morning filled with smiles, conversation, and plenty of memorable moments. 🌈☀️

Words have power, and our learners are discovering just how many there are to explore! 📚✨

Through engaging language activities, our learners are expanding their vocabulary, learning new words, and building the confidence to use them in their speaking and writing. Every new word adds another tool to their communication toolkit and helps them express their ideas more effectively.

Our Grade 7 learners brought Mathematics to life using matchsticks to build squares and triangles while exploring pattern building from Layer C to Layer A. 🔥📐

As the challenges grew, so did their thinking. Learners identified patterns, tested strategies, and created increasingly complex designs, developing their problem-solving, reasoning, and critical-thinking skills along the way.

A simple resource, meaningful engagement, and powerful mathematical thinking in action!

Our Grade R learners enjoyed an exciting day at Croc City, where learning came to life through hands-on experiences and close encounters with some fascinating reptiles. From discovering interesting facts about crocodiles to exploring the wonders of wildlife, the day was filled with curiosity, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments.🐊

🎨 Drawing Workshop for Grade 10 Visual Arts Learners 🎨

The Grade 10 Visual Arts learners attended a focused drawing workshop aimed at refining their observational and technical drawing skills in preparation for their upcoming drawing examination. The session provided valuable guidance, practical techniques, and hands-on experience, helping learners build confidence, strengthen their artistic abilities, and develop a deeper understanding of the drawing process. It was an enriching experience that encouraged creativity, critical observation, and artistic growth.

🚲 World Bicycle Day at Preschool 🚲

Our preschool learners had a wheelie wonderful time celebrating World Bicycle Day! The children enjoyed riding their bicycles and scooters while developing important gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and confidence. It was a fun-filled day that encouraged active play, healthy habits, and plenty of smiles as our little riders explored and learned through movement.

🏅 Celebrating a Golden Achievement! 🏅

We are incredibly proud of Leyara Moodley, who competed at the Gauteng District Gymnastics Competition and delivered an outstanding performance, earning a Gold Medal and achieving her Gauteng Junior Colours.

Adding to this remarkable accomplishment, Leyara has also qualified to compete at the upcoming Gauteng Gymnastics Festivals. Her dedication, perseverance, and passion for the sport continue to inspire those around her.
