Sewing is my gateway drug into solving complex problems. It’s what I’m paid to do. In fact, my background in construction includes homes and garments 🏡👗 Garment construction and carpentry are similar skills. I use my laser level to hem dresses when I’m not using it for home projects. I highly recommend any designer who’s working with bigger projects start using a laser for cutting. Fashion design is a really fun way to say product developer. There’s more math and measuring than they tell you in school. I’m at the fabric store and Home Depot once a week 😂 #patternmaker #alterations #dressalterations #bylydiaendora
