Our new portable nursery system is officially up and running, bringing reforestation innovation right where it’s needed most. 🌱

Through photosynthesis, they absorb CO₂ from the air and lock it away in their roots, trunks, and soil, therefore helping reduce greenhouse gases.
Ou drones don’t just drop seeds, they plant seedling plugs that have a much higher survival rate.
More thriving trees = more carbon captured = a healthier planet.

Meet Dawie Burger, Project Manager- He is also the co-founder and driving force behind Sustainable Ceder, a community-rooted conservation initiative based in the Cederberg. With a background in landscape restoration, biodiversity advocacy, and social development, Dawie works at the intersection of ecological stewardship and local empowerment. Through hands-on programmes like cedar tree propagation, alien clearing, and eco-tourism experiences, he helps connect people- both local and visiting- to the cultural and environmental heritage of the Cederberg. His work reflects a deep commitment to long-term sustainability, community collaboration, and the protection of the endangered Clanwilliam cedar.
