I smiled while scrolling through the images for this post. I was reminded of the absolute joy and honour it was to be part of Anna and Bennie’s special day.

Their connection and love for each other felt tangible, something we all spend our lives searching for.

The day was spent barefoot with close friends and family with the most amazing backdrop of the Riviersonderend Mountains surrounding Greyton!

I moved through this past weekend with no mobile reception (how amazing), surrounded by people from all walks of life on a journey of self…self discovery, self awareness, self expression and pure bliss.

Such a well organised and incredible festival 🫶🏻

Look, spiders are not my favourite kind of creature. But I’m learning to appreciate their quirky beauty.

This little guy (Jumping Spider) lives in one of my pot plants and makes an appearance every now and then.

We then have a stare down, where at first I contemplated a “Doom defence” but realised perhaps he’s just as interested in me looking at him as I was looking at him.

After several attempts, he/she finally stood staring in good light and allowed me to stick a camera in its face!

How I love returning clients, this was the 10th year I’ve photographed this family. Literally watching how the kids (now young adults) grow up with every shoot!

Spending the morning with the Eksteens, exploring the secret forest and a walk on the beach!
