Curro George is an independent primary school in George that provides high-quality education to learners from Group 3 (2 years turning 3) to Grade 4 (with higher grades phasing in annually).
Operating as usual
Our Group 4 children were encouraged to paint on an A3 sheet of paper with a toothbrush and also to cut "play dough" with cookie cutters to develop their fine motor skills. Then, they spent some time on mathematics by measurement, scooping up a mixture of beans and samp in a range of cup sizes to observe how much fits into the cups ranging from small to large.
The little ones in Group 3 used starch and paint to depict a windy day in George on paper and built puzzles.
Intense concentration by die Grade 3's today. They wrote creative sentences applying their alphabetical order knowledge and using dictionaries.
On this rainy day the Group 5's had a lot of fun. Painting their backgrounds with tea bags, drawing a self portrait and dressed it with their clothes that they have cut out and coloured in.
They used counters to count and match numbers. It was also a lot of fun doing some body movements to keep warm.
We kicked the term off by telling and drawing a picture of our holiday news.🖼
The Grade 2's are ready and excited for Term 2!✏️📔🤩
