A wedding colour can sometimes start with just one little detail. 💙

A blue tie. A favourite flower. A shade that reminds you of something special. Before you know it, that one colour has found its way onto the tables, into the flowers and throughout the little details that bring your wedding together.

We’re loving this beautiful combination of soft blue, natural wood and gorgeous fynbos, with those proteas stealing the show. A little bit of classic, a little bit of countryside and plenty of personality.

When the last bit of daylight disappears and the dam turns into a dark mirror, the whole scene takes on a different kind of beauty. Just the two of you, the trees, the stillness and a little bit of magic in the air.

There’s something quite special about seeing this little corner of Trinity Gate from above. Surrounded by open fields, water and greenery, it’s a beautiful spot for the beginning of a very big day.

Green really does have a way of making a wedding feel warm and welcoming.

From the groom’s deep green suit to the beautiful table settings, the flowers and even the vintage car, this wedding brought everything together in such a lovely, natural way.

Nothing overdone. Just thoughtful details, a beautiful colour palette and a celebration that felt completely its own.

And those little fynbos-inspired touches? We’ll always have a soft spot for those. 🤍

Before the music starts and the guests arrive, there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes. Tables being dressed, lights being checked, flowers finding their place and all the little details coming together.

These are just a few cell phone snaps from a recent wedding, just a little look at the space getting ready for a beautiful celebration. 🤍

Now this is how you make a statement. 🤍

Those incredible suspended florals completely changed the room. The mix of warm orange, rust and softer tones, with greenery and pampas spilling overhead, drew your eye up and made the whole setup feel full without overcrowding the tables.

And we absolutely love the Edison bulbs tucked between the flowers. Such a gorgeous finishing touch once the light starts to change. ✨

A little glimpse upwards…

Our chandeliers have become such a beautiful part of the character of Trinity Gate. Suspended throughout the venue, they bring warmth, elegance and the most gorgeous glow once the celebrations carry on into the evening.

And when they’re all lit together? Quite a sight. 🤍

We always love seeing how completely different the venue can look from one celebration to the next. Every couple brings their own style, and somehow the space becomes theirs for the day.
