A fantastic day at Turffontein racing with a happy bunch, some of whom are new to the game. A first winner for Lady Harlequin. Runner-up in three starts to date, here's hoping she goes on from here.

The daughter of What A Winter is owned by Craig Felix, Devan Govender and Harlequin Rugby Club with Ben Eybers as the nominee. Thanks for bringing such a new crew to the sport. Enflame completes the Highveld stayers double in his customary style.

The son of Irish Flame, the only one Racing today has now won six times including two Listed features. He does it on his terms. Owned by Larry Nestadt, Cecil Millinger and Paul Marks, this guy seals more silverware. He was bred by Tawny Syndicate.

The crowd at Turffontein on Day 4 of the Championships grasped everytime he dropped further behind. Many peoples play on the card, Enflame needed all the convincing from Serino Moodley to pick up the bit. He is a remarkable Character. Thank you Serino.

Doesyourmotherknow produces a gutsy win

There was a lot to like about how Doesyourmotherknow overcame a big challenge from the runner-up but the daughter of Master Of My Fate stuck to her task.

She was given a great ride by Craig Zackey who kept her balanced, settled and focused. Well done for win 200 later in the card.

Enflame gives the yard a double in the Listed Wilgerbosdrift Caradoc Gold Cup after My Soul Mate triumphed 12 months ago.

Chronicle King shows his class

With an eye on Champions Season in Durban, Chronicle King returned from a mini break to beat a good field off top weight at the Vaal.

The beautifully bred My Dear Friend, a half sister to sire Erik The Red gets a valuable win under the belt to win at Turffontein.

Enflame goes back to back

Enflame shows he is on track for some features in the coming months overcoming a small field and a slow pace to score his fourth career win from 11 runs.

Enflame is the only progeny of Irish Flame on the racecourse and he looks to have a bright future in the long distance division. He is now a three time winner as he took victory at Turffontein on 1 February.

Owned by Larry Nestadt and Cecil Millinger, this boy came from last and won easier than the margin shows. This race was always going to bring him on for the staying features this season. He was bred by Tawny Syndicate.

Reece's Wish makes a dream come true

A wonderful story as Reece who became a fan of Double Grand Slam in Durban a few years ago, has a horse named after him is out of the maidens after three consecutive finishes in the runner-up spot.
