Earlier this month, we had the privilege of spending three days with the Witzenberg community in Ceres at Paardekloof Primary School for an edible garden workshop π±
Facilitated by Buci from the Q***r Food Growing Collective , the workshop explored the relationship between food growing, creativity, sustainability, and community-led action.
What continues to inspire us about this kind of work is seeing how ideas evolve when people come together. A space may begin with a simple intention, but through shared knowledge and collaboration, it becomes something much bigger.
Over three days, the community moved from ideas into action and brought an edible garden vision to life πΏ
A beautiful reminder that growing food is also about growing relationships, resilience, and possibility.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped nurture this process π

βπΎ A moment worth paying attention to.
South Africa has abstained from adopting the African Charter on Family, Sovereignty and Values, with the delegation raising concerns about provisions that conflict with constitutional rights and protections.
This is bigger than a policy document. These debates shape whose families are recognised, whose lives are protected, and who gets to belong.
Across Africa, communities continue building movements for dignity, equality, and freedom for all. ππ³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ

A new chapter in HIV prevention is beginning in South Africa. πΏπ¦
The rollout of Lenacapavir, a new injectable HIV prevention option, is an important milestone in the fight against HIV.

Pride is a protest. πβπΎ
Pride Month arrives at a moment when LGBTQIA+ communities across the world are facing renewed attacks on our rights, our safety, and our freedom to exist fully and openly.
Across Africa and globally, we are witnessing attempts to erase q***r lives, histories, and identities. These moments remind us why Pride has always been more than a celebration.
Pride was built through resistance.
Through communities showing up for one another.
Through people refusing to disappear.
We honour the histories that brought us here. We remember those who fought before us, those who continue the work today, and those building safer futures for generations to come.
At Triangle Project, we believe q***r liberation is rooted in community, care, memory, and collective action.
We are still here. We are still organising. We are still imagining a world where everyone can live with dignity and freedom.

A major step forward in HIV prevention.
South Africa marks the national rollout of Lenacapavir, a long-acting HIV prevention option that offers new possibilities for protecting communities and expanding access to HIV prevention.
At Triangle Project, we recognise the importance of accessible, inclusive, and affirming healthcare, especially for communities who continue to face barriers to services.
Prevention works best when everyone can access information, care, and support without stigma.
