Alumni Week at TSIBA Business School brought our community together to reconnect, realign, and reflect on shared purpose and values.
The week was proudly coordinated by TSIBA alum Clayton Jardine in partnership with the TSIBA Career and Alumni Office, reflecting the strength of a community that continues to lead, give back, and actively shape its own ecosystem.
A highlight was an online alumni session where graduates engaged in breakout conversations guided by questions such as: What is your purpose? What is your intention statement? What values guide you today? These reflections reinforced a core part of the TSIBA experience, purpose-driven leadership that continues long after graduation.
We also gathered for a group hike, creating space for informal conversation, reflection, and community building in nature. In parallel, a wellness hike and mindfulness experience, initiated by TSIBA alum Denver Van der Bergh, took place, blending mountain exploration with grounding practices. The experience, facilitated alongside Candice from Chasing Nature and Kim from Lifted Grey, combined guided hiking through breathtaking landscapes with mindful yoga and meditation practices, supporting participants in reconnecting with nature, self, and community.
Alumni Week reminded us that while our journeys may differ, we remain deeply connected through shared values, intention, and purpose.

We cordially invite you to attend our exclusive 1+1 Executive masterclass on Leading and Managing with a Global Mindset, in Cape Town on 15th April 2026.
About the Event
In an era of rapid transformation and shifting global markets, the future belongs to (African) companies and entrepreneurs who focus on a niche and exploit it globally. Hence, the ability to understand the local and global contexts, and to lead through others, is no longer just a management skillβit is a strategic imperative for global sustainable growth. Senior managers and rising leaders need to understand the global context from their unique perspectives. As such, this event brings together experts in leadership training at the executive, middle manager, and undergraduate levels to share insights across the spectrum of leadership training for a new Africa.
The program will start with a short talk by Prof. Dominique Turpin, President Emeritus of CEIBS and a globally recognized authority in international strategy and global brand management. He has decades of experience advising global titans such as Coca-Cola, NestlΓ©, and Panasonic, and working with smaller firms like Havaianas in Brazil, Uniqlo in Japan or Caran dβAche in Switzerland.
After that, there will be a panel to contextualize the topic and also draw from local experiences and insights from the leadership training program at TSIBA Education. The Panel would be made up of Prof. Dominique Turpin, President Emeritus of CEIBS, Gia Whitehead, Co-founder & CEO of TSIBA Education, Earl-Djehuti (Ehrlich) Erasmus, Lecturer & Facilitator of the Leadership and Self Development Program at TSIBA, moderated by Dr. Peter Tabot Ayuk, Executive Dean - TSIBA Business School at TSIBA.
Who should attend?
Executives and rising leaders in organizations with a global focus or interest. Participants exploring MBA, Global EMBA or Executive Education programmes will also learn about CEIBS programs in those areas.
