*ACDP CONDEMNS NON-PAYMENT OF SALARIES AT MALUTI-A-PHOFUNG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY*

The African Christian Democratic Party [ACDP] in the Free State is deeply disappointed and concerned by reports that the *Maluti-a-Phofung Local Municipality* in the Thabomofutsanyana District has failed to pay its employees their salaries.

The non-payment of salaries is unacceptable and an embarrassment to the people of Thabomofutsanyana. Workers and their families depend on these salaries to put food on the table. This failure demonstrates poor governance, lack of financial management, and disregard for the dignity of workers.

The ACDP therefore *urges the Municipality, Provincial Government, and National Government to intervene urgently* to ensure that all employees are paid in full and that such a crisis never happens again.

The ACDP stands with the workers of Maluti-a-Phofung and will continue to fight for accountability, transparency, and servant leadership in all municipalities.

*ACDP CONDEMNS 3-DAY WATER OUTAGE IN MAFUBE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY*

The African Christian Democratic Party in the Free State notes with serious concern that *Mafube Local Municipality* left its community without water for *3 days*.

This is *not acceptable*. Access to clean water is a basic human right and a constitutional responsibility of every municipality.

The 3-day outage proves a *lack of responsibility, poor planning, and failure to be proactive*. Communities should not be punished for the municipality’s poor service delivery and bad management.

The ACDP calls on the *Mafube Local Municipality, Provincial and National Government* to intervene urgently, restore water supply, and put proper contingency plans in place to prevent this from happening again.

The people of Mafube deserve dignity, accountability, and reliable services.
