It's winter in Plett. ❄️ The training centre is a little crispy in the mornings. Nobody's complaining. 💪

27 people on-site this week — IRATA, GWO Basic Safety, OPITO Rigger — South Africa, Angola, Australia all in the mix. Near the solstice, days are short, but the energy inside? High. Spirits up, work getting done, and by the end of the week these guys walk out with internationally recognised certifications that open doors across the globe. 🌍

There's something about a full centre in winter that just works. No distractions. Just training, learning, and a good group making it happen together.

Someone told us recently that it doesn't feel like a course here — it feels like a week worth doing. That's exactly what we're going for. 🙌

38 people. 5 countries. One week. ❤️

Some of you are heading straight to a job site. Some are coming back next week for the next cert. Some of you just changed the direction of your career and don't quite know it yet.

One of our students this week flew in from New Zealand specifically to evaluate ITC.

Brent trains extensively across New Zealand and Australia — he's experienced a wide range of training environments. He'd heard enough about ITC to make the trip and see for himself. He chose Plettenberg Bay.

We don't take that lightly. When someone with the experience to train anywhere selects your centre by reputation, it means something.

This week's cohort reflects why: 38 students across IRATA, GWO BST, GWO Blade Repair, OPITO Rigger Initial, and Rigger Competence. Students from Angola, Namibia, New Zealand, and South Africa — including a full Portuguese-language group benefiting from ITC's dedicated multilingual training offering, the only such programme outside Cape Town in South Africa.

We also had Zenande return this week after not being ready to assess on her previous IRATA course. We invited her back to continue training at no additional cost. Competence is the goal — not throughput.
