Hey guys I wanted to come on here and give you all a heads up about the next few weeks. As many of you know, at the end of January this year I went in for surgery for nasal polyps and needed to take a pause and step back from a bunch of different aspects of rescue for a few weeks. Without going into detail, there’s been an overwhelming amount of stuff going on in my personal life. That being said, I’m going to be taking another small step back from a few of the more intense inner workings of rescue for a few weeks. Intakes will be slowing down as I focus on making sure that I have everything as stable as possible moving forward. Sanctuary life does not stop and the animals that we have here that are available for adoption are still here and looking for their forever families. Everyone will still be seeing day to day operations and updates as much as possible so don’t worry about that! I would like give a huge shout out to our volunteers for being consistent and overall amazing. A huge shout out as well to you, our community, for being understanding and patient while we make sure we can continue to save and support the neglected farmed animals in our community. ❤️

Turnip went to his amazing new home with Mousebutt Rescue Ranch yesterday! We can't wait to see him making friends and exploring his new life! 🥰

We just realized that we never made a post about Wendy's leg brace! We had a custom brace made for her remaining back leg to offer extra support. Since she is still growing, this will be one of several braces from !

We are so excited to announce that we finally have an onsite bathroom! This has been such a long time coming, and thanks to a very generous donor, we were able to make it a reality! After 3 years, gone are the days of inconvenient bathroom runs!

Side note- Nobody knows who put up that bathroom sign! It was none of our board members, and it's been a hilarious mystery. 😂

Everyone meet Squid, a living cartoon character!

Yesterday evening, we got the call about a newborn goat whose mom didn't survive giving birth to her sibling. She was less than 24 hours old and a lamancha, not a boer goat like we expected! This little one is a giant, standing up to my knee at just one day old. We're relieved they reached out to us immediately, not after days of struggling without care, which would've cut her survival chances drastically.

All things considered, she's thriving! Eating well and mastering those long legs. Our Amazon wishlist is updated with essentials, and any contributions towards her care are greatly appreciated. Spring has brought us an influx of babies, and donations have been stretched thin. We're so grateful for everyone's support!
