Are you ready to shine?
Toastmasters quickly learn how to be unflappable in the face of changing dynamics and logistics. At our last meeting on July 9th, the room we normally meet in was impacted by flooding and a sewage leak. Determined to not let it stop us, we quickly adapted, found a new location between rooms, and held an excellent meeting with Nayler Abror Abror in the driver's seat as Toastmaster of the Day. Completely undisrupted by events!
Our newly elected president, Christopher Hulse also installed Carrie Mosley as out new Vice President, Education.
Wanna see what Toastmasters is all about? Join York Toastmasters, every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, 6:45pm at the York YMCA 90 N Newberry Street, Loucks Room, York, PA 17401.

Here Toastmaster Marc fills the role of Evaluator. In Toastmasters, giving and receiving feedback is essential for growth and improvement. Constructive feedback helps speakers spot their strengths and areas to improve, boosting confidence and skills. When giving feedback, you get to sharpen your own communication and leadership abilities. Receiving feedback opens the door to growth, helping speakers embrace progress while fine-tuning their craft. This supportive exchange makes Toastmasters a fun and dynamic way to grow both personally and professionally!

Regret is the ultimate poison.
If you are thinking about taking the leap and doing whatever it is that you love, you need to just go for it.
You will always regret the things that you don't do not the things you did.

"I joined York Toastmasters in 2013 at the advice of my manager. I have no problem talking even to large professional groups. What Toastmasters helped me learn in a supportive practical form is to improve my ability to focus on my topic, organize and convey my thoughts better." -Toastmaster Lance
