We are proud to recognize Dr. Joseph Mountain and Dr. LaJuan Mountain, our Vice Presidents for Dental Services, for being among only 40 dental leaders from across the United States selected for the American Dental Association Certified Clinic Director (CCD) program! The selective CCD program is an executive-level six-month, cohort-based experience designed for to advance participants' expertise around improving operational performance and systems optimization.

We’re excited for them to bring their learning back to Family First Health to help us continue to grow and evolve our dental services. Congratulations!

Meet RxD2, our Parata Max 2 pharmacy robot! This powerhouse is part of our pharmacy team and helps dispense medications efficiently and accurately, giving our pharmacy team more time to focus on patients. Since opening Family First Pharmacy is October, RxD2 has dispensed roughly 750,000 medications.

Our School-Based Health Center team was excited to join families at Hannah Penn PreK-8 (in York City School District) for their Back to School Night last week. We connected with students and families, sharing information about the services we provide and putting books into the hands of young readers. From health and wellness support to building relationships with families, we’re proud to be part of the school community to help students feel supported, healthy, and ready to learn.

This week is National Community Health Worker Awareness Week! We’re grateful for our Community Health Workers (CHWs) and all they do for our patients and community.

CHWs know our community well, and can connect patients with important resources, from health insurance and affordable care to local programs and services. Many of our CHWs are also Certified Community Health Workers, Child Passenger Safety Technicians, and Safe Sleep Ambassadors. They make a real difference every day by helping people find the support they need.

August is National Breastfeeding Month! Through our Nurse-Family Partnership program, nurses build trusted relationships with families, offering guidance, education, encouragement, and resources throughout pregnancy and a child’s early years, including breastfeeding support for families who choose it.
