Storms, emergencies, and unexpected events can happen at any time. Preparation is what makes communities resilient.
This week's Building Safety Month theme, Prepared to Protect, highlights the importance of smart design, strong codes and community preparedness in protecting the places where we live, work, and gather.
From thoughtful site design to disaster-ready infrastructure, the built environment plays a critical role in keeping communities safe before, during. and after disaster strikes. At NUTEC, we're proud to help create spaces designed not only to perform, but to protect.

Architecture school may be over, but the journey to licensure is just beginning.
From completing AXP hours to tackling the ARE, becoming a licensed architect is a process built on experience, persistence, and growth. In our latest blog, Architectural Designer Grace Feeser shares an inside look at what the path to licensure really looks like after graduation including the challenges, the lessons learned, and why it’s worth the effort.
Whether you’re a recent graduate, currently in school, or already working through the process yourself, this blog is a reminder that progress doesn’t have to happen all at once. One step at a time still moves you forward.

Week Two of Building Safety Month highlights the theme, “Voices of the Built Environment,” recognizing the professionals who help keep our communities safe every day. From code reviewers and building inspectors to fire marshals and design professionals, these individuals play a critical role in protecting public health, safety, and welfare through every stage of a project.
Ever wonder what actually happens during a code review? We broke down some of the key items reviewers look for when evaluating plans for compliance, safety, accessibility, coordination, and overall functionality.
Navigating the permitting and review process can feel overwhelming, but having the right team makes all the difference. If you need guidance as you move through plan review and approvals, the NUTEC team is here to help.
