York Builders Association

The South Central PA Construction Expo is off to a great start! 🙌

We kicked off the morning with a fantastic keynote from Justin Shaffer of Growth Navigator Solutions, LLC, and there’s plenty more ahead today.

A big THANK YOU to our event sponsors for helping make today possible, and to Presenting Sponsor Lezzer Design Center for making sure every attendee goes home with a bucket!

We’re proud of the work the York Builders Association Workforce NOW Foundation Inc. is doing to introduce the next generation to the many opportunities available in the construction industry!

During Careers in Construction Month, we’re especially proud to celebrate their efforts to connect local students with hands-on experiences, training and real career pathways right here in our community.

The future of our industry starts with building the workforce of tomorrow. 💪

October is Careers in Construction Month!

There’s more than one way to build a successful future, and careers in construction offer opportunities to learn valuable skills, earn while you grow, and build a career you can be proud of.

Throughout York County, the YBA Workforce NOW Foundation is helping students discover those possibilities through hands-on experiences, connections with local employers, career exploration, and training opportunities.

This month, we’re celebrating the people who build our communities and encouraging the next generation to discover where a career in construction could take them.

When tax rules change, the impact on your construction business can show up in your cash flow, equipment purchases, and bottom line.

Join Steve Hart, CPA, MST, MAcc, of RKL LLP at the South Central PA Construction Expo for Tax Updates for Contractors, an interactive roundtable focused specifically on the tax issues affecting construction businesses.

Bring your questions! The conversation will cover topics including recent federal and Pennsylvania tax changes, equipment and vehicle deductions, accounting methods, tax incentives, multi-state work and year-end planning.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of potential planning opportunities, common pitfalls to avoid, and the conversations worth having with your tax advisor before year-end.
