✨ Orientation Day 1 at Home2 Hazleton! ✨

Today marked the start of an exciting journey as we officially welcomed the Home2 Hazleton team for Day 1 of Orientation! From the moment we walked into the room, the energy, excitement, and passion were undeniable.

As part of the Springwood Hospitality family, we believe in leading from the heart and creating lasting relationships through fulfilling experiences so that everyone we impact—guests, teammates, and community members—feels valued and cared for. That purpose was woven throughout today’s knowledge-packed day as our team began learning what it truly means to deliver hospitality with heart.

Over the next two days, this incredible group will build the foundation for a culture rooted in teamwork, service, growth, and genuine care for one another. We are beyond excited to watch this team come together and bring the Home2 Hazleton experience to life.

And of course… we can’t forget our unexpected orientation guest — the people-friendly deer who apparently decided they wanted to be part of the Home2 Hazleton crew too! 🦌💙 They spent the day nearby making appearances and definitely gave us all a few smiles and laughs along the way. We’re taking it as a sign that even the wildlife can feel the positive energy this team is bringing already!

The future is bright, and this crew is already showing what makes Springwood special. 💙

🚛✨ Another exciting milestone for the soon-to-open Home2 Suites by Hilton Hazleton!

Today was Operating Supplies & Equipment delivery day — and what a day it was! With 2 trucks, 26 pallets, and an incredible team effort, our hotel is one step closer to opening its doors.

What makes days like today so special isn’t just the volume of supplies arriving… it’s the people behind the process. Associates from Martinsburg, WV and Hershey, PA came together alongside the Hazleton opening team to unload, organize, and prepare the hotel for guests.

Opening a hotel takes teamwork, energy, and a shared commitment to creating something great. Seeing multiple teams come together to support one another is a reminder of what hospitality is all about.

We’re getting closer every day, and the excitement is building! 🎉🏨

This week, our Dual Marriott property in Lancaster, PA demonstrated exactly what that commitment looks like in action.
TownePlace Suites achieved a 99.2 on its Quality Assurance audit, and Fairfield earned an extraordinary 99.7.

Marriott’s QA process is unannounced. It measures the hotel exactly as it operates on an ordinary day. Which is precisely why these results matter.

Today, members of the Springwood Hospitality Executive Team and some of Harrisburg’s outstanding Hotel GMs rolled up their sleeves and spent the morning volunteering at the Central PA Food Bank; sorting and bagging fresh produce for our neighbors in need.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Springwood without a little competition! We turned up the fun by counting how many perfect 5lb bags of cucumbers and corn each team could complete.

👏 Sean Lantz swept both rounds and walked away with the title of Produce Packing Champ!

Springwood Hospitality was proud to join The Norwood Company and CAN DO, Inc. last week to celebrate the groundbreaking of our newest project – Home2 Suites by Hilton at Humboldt Station.

This 107-room extended-stay hotel will feature:
✅ Spacious King Studios and Double Queen Studios
✅ One-Bedroom Suites
✅ An indoor saltwater pool
✅ Outdoor patio with fire pit and grills
✅ Spin2Cycle fitness and laundry space

Located at the crossroads of I-80 and I-81, this hotel will serve the growing demand in Hazleton’s thriving industrial market. Once open, it will create approximately 25 new jobs and offer modern, flexible accommodations for both short- and long-term guests.
