We are starting off the week strong!

This week available we have:

15 dozen Farm Fresh eggs- all hens are fed Non GMO feed! All eggs are float tested and gently cleaned, then refrigerated to ensure quality.
$4/dozen

6 quarts RAW GOATS MILK- our momma is producing almost a gallon a day!! Goats milk is great for your gut health, and is loaded with probiotics. Drink it yourself or supplement some to your dogs!
$5/quart

So proud of this girl and her udder for a First Freshener- first time momma. Still feeding babies during the day, she is producing an impressive amount of milk, almost a half gallon every morning! Once babies are weaned, she will be milked twice daily.

Momma Moxy has really taken well to the mom life- chewing her cud while nursing the big kiddos. She is such a fantastic momma ❤️

Finally....

The wait is over. What an amazing birth we had today, and our first freshener mama is an absolute rockstar- she delivered pretty well unassisted, and went right to work being the best mama a baby goats could ask for ❤️

One doeling and one buckling- they are perfect in every way ❤️ a huge shutout to our friends at Shady Legacy Farm for answering my SOS call that she was in labor and I wasn't home- thankfully I made it home quickly and all is well. More pictures to come later! But for now, mama and babies are resting and figuring out life together ❤️

We are still on baby watch from Momma Moxy 🫠 if you see me in the next few days and I have huge bags under my eyes from lack of sleep, you know why 🤣 she is in the kidding stall resting until it's showtime- still building an udder, ligaments gone in her tail, lots of nesting and yawning and being sweet and grooming me. Her belly has dropped and babies are moving back, like Girl- release those hostages!

Its time to make the official announcement since hes all settled in- we are so excited to introduce our new AKKPS registered breeding boar "Chief"! We have yet to pick a barn name for him, but we adore him already ❤️

This big guy came from Griffith Family Farm in West Virginia, and we are so excited to have him now as a part of our program here at Brindle Homestead! He is a massive proven breeding boar that sires absolutely stunning litters and we can't wait to see how he crosses with our girls 😍

We thankfully brought the horse trailer to pick him up, there's no way he would have fit in anything else! When we weight taped him yesterday, he is tipping the scales at around 487lbs give or take a few pounds 😲

A special thank you to Hailey for letting us bring this big guy home to add him to the herd- hes going to be such an asset to our breeding program! Keep an eye out for updates as we track cycles and start breeding the girls- and hopefully for fall litters of piglets 😍

This is both exciting and nerve wracking- our first kidding season! We chose to only breed 2 does our first round, and only 1 of them took. But- we are building an udder!! We are hopeful for babies in the next week or so! Moxy Janae is hopefully going to be such a great momma!

It's that time of year- dry noses and paws! Don't forget to use your Brindle Homestead Paw and Nose Balm on your pups to keep their crusty paws moisturized! Winnifred loves this part- it means she gets lots of paw rubs!

Does anybody want to guess what we are working on restocking currently?! HINT: we usually sell it as a syrup, but we now offer it as a freeze dried powder! 😉

Exciting news! End of last year, we decided to make the switch to non-MGO feed for our chickens, and the results have been amazing! They have been producing well all winter long! That being said, we have 8 dozen eggs available! $4 a dozen
