🚀 We're officially live! On Wednesday evening, we gathered with university leaders, , , and partners at our new headquarters to launch Keystone Innovation Collaborative: a statewide nonprofit platform built to close the connective gap in 's innovation ecosystem.
's debut also coincided with the first close of Keystone Innovation Fund II, the affiliated venture fund that will invest in the strongest companies emerging from the KIC ecosystem.
Pennsylvania has the , the universities, and the . KIC is the system that connects them.
Thank you to everyone who came out on Wednesday, to our founding university partners — Penn State University, University of Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg University — to the Ortenzio family for their anchor commitment, and to every LP backing KIF2 with real capital. This works because you show up.

It’s how the spark of a good idea starts to catch fire.
"But the real test comes in the 'second mile,' when companies need to prove repeatable sales, attract outside to invest in their operations and scale up beyond their first customers. This is where too many still stumble. Without the right regional support systems — capital, infrastructure, talent density and visibility — companies hit a wall. Some move away. Some stall. Too few make the leap to becoming durable, growing companies that remain headquartered here.
