Progress Report 1/2/23 Monday:

Happy New Year, my friends!

First- I’m a bit overwhelmed with the positive, loving messages coming from friends new and old, all over the world. They mean so much to me.

Looking a bit farther down the calendar, I have a BMW Mechanic friend who has volunteered to come help me to plow through the backlog of shop work, mostly transmission and rear drive rebuilding, by doing the physical stuff, unpacking, washing parts, packing and shipping. He’ll be learning the secrets and intricacies of those jobs that I do not share publicly. I anticipate that might take as long as six weeks once I get the shop reconfigured to allow wheelchair access. That part might be tricky, as my workshop is tight and over-filled. We’ll make it happen!

The Rubber Chicken Racing Garage Redux shall rise phoenix-like and fly again! It will look different, but customer service, like always, will be the core principle.

Parts and accessories will continue to flow. Look for some very useful Service Kits, just in time for your Spring bike prep.

A large stock of Wedgetail Ignition systems are in transit as you are reading this, to supplement the inventory currently on hand. We have all varieties in stock, and shipping will continue uninterrupted.

It’s looking BRIGHT! That’s my watchword for 2023!

Is a new surprise, followed by more surgery. Each cut seems to be pushing my recovery date back by weeks or months. I’m crushed and exhausted to think that 50 years in the BMW Motorcycle trade might go up
In smoke in just a few months.
