Common Ground, together with Caron Treatment Centers, announces the inspiring and educational speaker lineup for its annual Healing Power of Spirituality Speaker Series. Together, we bring the recovery community and wider public into conversation about the spiritual dimensions of healing.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. | Program begins at 7:00 p.m.

Each session features speakers who share their lived experiences, spiritual insights and personal journeys in recovery. At Common Ground, we believe that everyone is recovering from something – whether from addiction, hurts or simply the challenges of life. ALL ARE WELCOME☺

EVERY MONDAY
Drop In Center for Common Ground Recovery Community at Trinity — and we need your help to make it a welcoming space for those in recovery.
Every Monday from 1-5 pm, we'll open our doors to offer connection, support, and community. This is where you come in.
Volunteer Schedule:
11:30 am - 1 pm: Set Up
Help arrange tables, chairs, activity items, and prepare for clothing/food distribution
2-4 pm: Assist with Activities
Join in board games, chess, art projects, and conversation
2-4 pm: Lead an Activity
Share your skills in yoga, budgeting, art, Bible study, or faith conversations
What Happens Each Monday:
1-2 pm: Clothing & Food Distribution
1-3 pm: Refresh Berks Shower Services
2-4 pm Activities
4 pm 12 Step Recovery Worship
4:30 pm Meal
Whether you can come once a month or every week, your presence makes a difference. No special training required — just a willingness to show up and help others feel seen and supported.

Mark your calendar Friday, October 16th! Common Ground is excited to host Coffeehouse Open Mic Night; NOW with Karaoke!!! Lundin Hall at Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing, PA. The event lasts from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and is Sober, Fun, Free, & Recovery-Friendly!
Needed: Singers, Songwriters, Musicians, Poets and Audience Members.

NEW TIME!!!! Looking for connection and a great meal, mingle with us EVERY Wednesday at 5:30 pm. Come for the meal, feel free to stay for a spiritual recovery service. All are welcome…no expectations
Join Common Ground for our Fellowship Dinner in Lundin Hall! It's free and delicious! We hope to see you there! At 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm, join us for a 12 Step Recovery Worship.
