Congrats Stephanie!!! 🎉
We’re so grateful for all you do to support our library!

Congratulations to Stephanie Pasha, President of the Worcester Public Library Board of Directors, on receiving the 2026 Trustee Citation from the American Library Association. Kathryn DeRobertis believes the Worcester Public Library is more than just a place to borrow books — it's a welcoming community that inspires a lifelong love of learning. She joined our Board last fall and says it’s an honor to help support and preserve this space for future generations.

Kathryn works as Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at Holy Cross.

Libraries have always been a safe haven for Dr. Déborah González — and after visiting libraries across the country and around the world, WPL remains her favorite. ❤️

Dr. González is especially proud to serve on our Board, so that she can ensure Latinos and other historically underrepresented communities have a voice at the table and are helping to make decisions about initiatives, programming and events.

Her perspective is especially meaningful, as she also works as Supervisor of Translations and Interpretations for Worcester Public Schools — where she helps amplify voices in our community every day.

Congrats to the Worcester Public Library’s own
Katelyn Duncan on being named a 2026 Library Journal Mover & Shaker as a “Change Agent!” This *major* national recognition honors library professionals making an extraordinary impact in their communities.

(It’s a pretty big deal.)

Katelyn is WPL’s New Americans Librarian, where she launched initiatives including the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Navigator Program, which helps patrons find English classes, food access, and housing; and the Monthly Immigration Clinics, which connect patrons with resettlement agencies and legal services organizations.

This recognition is such a well-deserved reflection of Katelyn’s thoughtful, compassionate leadership — and the kind of community-changing work happening every day at Worcester Public Library. 💛

We couldn’t be prouder.
