We have spent the summer exploring our passions, diving into research, and applying our skills in the real world! Here is what more of our Panhellenic members have been up to this summer! 💖

“This summer I had a great time learning to apply my data science skills to real world problems at The Hanover! My sister Gracie worked at The Hanover last summer, and gave me lots of advice for the interviewing process. Her tips gave me the confidence to do well on my interview, and when I ultimately got the internship, she was so helpful making me feel prepared to walk in ready to excel on day one.”

“I’m doing a co-op at Olympus this term on the manufacturing side of medical scopes: process improvement, documentation, and troubleshooting alongside the production and quality teams along with some R&D work. Being in Chi Omega really helped me build teamwork and interpersonal skills, and that’s come in handy working across different teams for my job.”

~ Ria Dhake

“My current research involves synthesis of MXenes, a family of 2D carbide and carbonitride nanomaterials which exhibit semi-conductive and flexible properties. My work involves synthesis and characterization of MXenes with various surface terminations and internal structures to relate these structural properties to their mechanical ones.”

~ Kate Pogge

“While at BOND I worked on the Eversource UCMP project in Hartford, CT. I learned a lot of technical skills, field knowledge, and was able to meet a lot of new people. My  experience with recruitment helped me get to know new people and step out of my comfort zone!“

~ Adrianna Roszkowski

“This summer I’m learning about environmental consulting at Woodard and Curran. We work with industrial manufacturing clients to develop treatment systems for their waste. It’s been super cool to see how chemical engineering is applied in industry, and I have had many opportunities to hone my Excel and Bluebeam skills.“

~ Megan Mylet

“At Raytheon I worked on multiple continuous improvement projects to improve the manufacturing floor. I worked on cross functional teams with operators, engineers, and leadershi

Meet some of the interns who are reaching their goals and making an impact this summer!💛

“Spending the summer at MIT has been such an awesome experience. I’ve gotten to work on research focused on making concrete more sustainable while learning from incredible graduate students and faculty, and it’s made me even more excited about pursuing a PhD. It’s been really rewarding to be part of a research community that challenges me every day, and the leadership experiences and support I’ve gained through Chi Omega have been a big part of giving me the confidence to go after opportunities like this.”

~ Sarah Levine

“i work in the drinking water group to help provide people with clean water! when i’m in the office, i do environmental permitting, design calculations, and bidding for projects. when im in the field, i oversee soil sampling, water quality sampling, and water main installation!”

~ Maggie Joyce

“Getting to go to London for my HUA project was so exciting! London is a big melting pot, and being able to take the time to appreciate so many aspects of other people’s cultures while learning about their history was incredibly meaningful to me. I am so grateful for the experience, and I’m grateful that I get to continue to do so on campus with Theta Nu Xi!”

~ Virginia Iadanza

“I’ve been testing construction materials related to concrete and asphalt. This has included working with hot asphalt binder, power saws, huge tensile compression testers, and so much more. The folks at MassDOT have done an incredible job at welcoming me into their office culture. Like Phi Sig, it has become a safe space for me to ask any types of questions so that I can constantly be learning.”

~ Natalie Bouffard

“This summer I’ve been working in a quality control lab for a construction materials company. I’ve had the chance to work on a project which has involved analyzing data on energy consumption and fuel usage at
