Sometimes, to be well, we have to remind ourselves that we are in control of our emotions. At any given time, we can choose happiness - even when the odds are stacked against us.
Take as many smiles as you need and keep a few extra for others who need them, too. đ

A secret that will always keep you motivated and with a clear mind:
Itâs okay to not to be perfect. Being human is about experiencing imperfection and thriving there. Itâs okay to have a bad day or feel sad or make mistakes - thatâs what makes us human.
Youâre doing great, so keep going
Stress, anxiety and depression often stems from trauma-filled experiences, and leaving unauthentically can be viewed as a form of trauma. When you suppress who you are, you create a shell version of yourself that leaves you feeling empty. Be your true self to yourself and the world at all times and watch your perspective change.

Certified Health & Wellness Coach Giselle Rivera-Flores breaks down August into 4 one-week growth areas. Each week, you will receive a daily workshop via your email inbox.
Weekly topics:
Week 1: Productivity
Week 2: Relationships

This Self-growth workshop will be held with a live weekly check-in for the group to allow questions for clarity, accountability, and open discussion on Sunday mornings. This is where we will build our Self-Growth community! From daily workshop topics like The Power of Habits (Week 1), Come as You Are (Week 3), The 48 Laws of Power (Week 2), and Stillness is Key (Week 4), you will finish the month of August feeling refreshed, with a new perspective and a sense of clarity to finish off the rest of 2023.

"It works like a gem..."
In the past, I would sometimes feel overwhelmed but not anymore! I immediately adopted Giselle's method of achieving goals and now I feel confident navigating through my day and smashing goals. - M. Ashley
The most important takeaway here is that my coaching sessions are client led. You lead the conversation to talk about your most imperative topics that may be a burden, a challenge or a stepping stone. This journey is all about you!

When we put things in perspective, we learn that our journey will never be like someone elseâs journey because we are different people with different experiences and different life interactions.
An amazing way to slow things down and keep yourself centered is to remind yourself that everyoneâs journey is different and thatâs how it should be. â¤ď¸
One of the biggest âahaâ moments come after this question in my sessions:
What could you imagine yourself doing if you knew you couldnât fail?
When we remove all of the challenges, our vision of what we want becomes clear. Often times, we know what we want internally but we focus too much on the challenges and obstacles and not on the results it will provide in the end.
Take a moment this weekend and reflect on this question or share your thoughts down below

As humans, we gravitate to the negative experience. A negative experience always trumps a positive one when we reflect back and it takes work to acknowledge that.
When we think about the future, it is often the same. We anticipate struggles and uncertainty so instead of asking ourselves âwhat if I fail?â Replace it with âwhat if I succeed?â
