Hello from the Clark University Community Engagement and Volunteering fair!

Today, Thidi and myself said hello to a number of excited Clark students. We informed passersby of our little nonprofit, what we do, and our upcoming Worker Co-op Academy happening towards the end of this year.

It’s always really exciting to be able to connect with new community members. Our office is right down the road on King Street, so we’re super close! I’m grateful for all the smiling faces we were greeted with.

Have thoughts, big ideas, concerns or questions about our nonprofit, co-operatives, or the power of community? Email us at [email protected] or visit our website at www.worcesterroots.org. We’d love to hear from you!

Our Co-op Academy has wrapped up!

We are so happy to have had this experience with you all. Over 13 weeks, we were able to learn together, bond with one another, and create the beginnings of some beautiful co-ops-to-be!

A series of thank you’s are in order:

Thank you The Village Worcester for hosting us during these sessions and opening your community to us! We couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you to all of our wise hosts! We’ve learned so much from you over these past weeks. Thank you for passing on your knowledge of all things co-operation!

Another thank you to everyone who participated, from our day-one registrants to those who joined us later on! We hope that this experience was as fruitful for you as it was for us.

Stay tuned for more updates.
