Spring Brook was growing fast!

Dar had a vision for Spring Brook and a dream of continuing to grow the community by building more properties. That vision really started taking shape in the late 1990s.

The Spring Brook Glen and it's 91 lots was just the beginning of Dar and Juli's development plan. In 1997, the Falls expansion added 62 lots, followed by the Shores expansion with 127 lots in 1998. Then in 2002, the Greens expansion added another 206 lots to the community. These developments has created Spring Brook into what is today with a total of 486 lots.

But 1997 was about more than adding lots. The Falls expansion also brought a major change for Spring Brook: access to city water instead of relying on wells.

All of these expansions helped shape the Spring Brook community we know today. More lots meant more opportunities to build homes, bring families and owners into the community, and continue growing the property into what it is today.

What started as Dar and Juli's dream to keep building and growing Spring Brook was becoming a reality, one expansion at a time.

Spring Brook has scenic walking trails throughout the resort, making it easy to get outside and enjoy a little time away from the busy stuff.

Our outdoor pool closes after this weekend, so come get in a few more swims before we say goodbye to summer. And of course, no pool day is complete without a poolside drink. Come enjoy it while you can, fall will be here before we know it!

Every home at Spring Brook has a story, and it all starts with the people who built them.

In October 1995, Peter Elftmann partnered with Dar and Juli to establish Spring Brook Construction. Pete's role was to oversee the construction of new homes while ensuring each one met the quality and craftsmanship that helped shape the Spring Brook community.

The construction shop was built in 1998 on what is now Hole 2 of the Spring Brook Golf Course. As the community expanded, the shop moved to its current location on Trout Road in 2004. In April 2012, Eric Gregerson joined the construction team, continuing the tradition of quality craftsmanship.

A new chapter began in July 2025, when Pete sold his interest in Spring Brook Construction to Tyler Ruchti, who had served as the company's Project Manager for almost 20 years. Today, Tyler, Eric and the team continue building and caring for the homes that make Spring Brook such a special place to live and vacation.

From the very first homes to the thriving community you see today, Spring Brook Construction has played a vital role in bringing the vision of the Spring Brook Community to life.
