Alternative Pop-ish songs. Brawny paper towel aesthetic. Alex2e (actual name Alex Tuohey) is an alternative singer/songwriter from Western Massachusetts.
More importantly, Alex2e is a storyteller. In 2012, while recovering from major surgery and desperate for reprieve, he picked up his sister's beat up guitar and started writing. Words became lyrics, days became months and bathroom video covers turned into gigs. Fast forward to today and his leaps can be measured in dog years. Had myself a time at this weekend.
Shows like the last few days tend to remind you why you’re chasing this thing in the first place. Whether there’s 20 or 2,000 people in a room, getting to play songs you wrote and seeing connection from an audience will always be one of the best feelings in the world.
Thank you to everyone who came out the past week and to for having me along for the ride. I got one more in me this month at on 4/24 (FREE SHOW) and will be baby prepping and doing yard stuff for the rest of it.
