The Caring Connection

Last weekend our administrative assistant, Rachel, rode on this amazing 250th Anniversary float! The float was in the Shad Derby parade, an annual favorite in Windsor. Kudos to all of the town employees that participated in this!

We had a wonderful pet visit from these two gorgeous Collies this week!
We also want to say a special Happy Birthday to their owner, our dedicated volunteer, Kelly Kasheta!🐕🐕❤️🎂

We had two special visitors this week! Jack, our original therapy dog, came back to visit after a long winter! ❤️🐶
Also, East Chicago Joe, a fan and staff favorite, performed awesome songs by artists such as Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin! 💃🕺🎤🎶

On Friday we celebrated Yvonne’s 80th Birthday! A special thank you to her daughter Karen who supplied the delicious cake and ice cream.
Yvonne is our longest attending client - she is entering into her 5th year at The Caring Connection!
Happy 80th to one special lady!! ❤️🎂

Everyone was Irish at The Caring Connection yesterday! Thank you to Midge and Martha for their wonderful entertainment filled with Irish music and the best sing a long songs!

We had another wonderful visit with Amy from Bloom Where Planted last week!
We made Spring hanging arrangements to take home!

Today, the clients at Caring Connection were so excited to complete these Valentine’s Day cards for our veterans. Each card was lovingly handcrafted by our extremely creative clients as a small token of appreciation and gratitude for those who have served our country. These cards will be sent over to our local Department of Veteran’s Affairs where they will be distributed to some of our local heroes. 🩷💜
