Man, these add up fast. Life happens all around us - let us help you be ready for some of it!

Some days Windsor feels like it’s growing into a big city, and then your community suffers the loss of a young life and you realize small town care and love are alive everywhere. We are standing with our WCA neighbors tonight and this week as they navigate the devastating loss of a young man. Please keep this family and the students at tight knit WCA in your prayers.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of a member of our high school student community. This is devastating news, and our hearts are with the student's family, friends, classmates, and everyone affected by this tragedy. Windsor Charter Academy is a small, tight-knit community, and our Firebird Families are here to support one another.

Out of respect for the family's privacy, we are not sharing the student's name at this time, and we ask that you respect their privacy until details become available through appropriate channels.

We know news like this is difficult for children and adults alike. Grief counselors are available to support students. If your student needs support outside of school, the following resources are available:
- Pathways of Northern Colorado (970) 494-4200
- Foundations Counseling, LLC., 855-486-0571
- North Range Behavioral Health 24hr Support (Weld County), 970-347-2120 - Press 2
- The Hope Line
- 988 Lifeline
- Colorado’s I Matter Program offers free, confidential counseling sessions for youth at imattercolorado.org. Colorado Crisis Services is available 24/7 at 1-844-493-8255, or text TALK to 38255.

Our most heartfelt thoughts are with the family and everyone impacted by this passing. Our Firebird Family is strong.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Eaton and Northern Colorado community. Life took a tragic turn for some incredible young people this weekend. Some gone too soon, some left with deep trauma that may never leave them. The strength of the people around you is so important in moments like this and we will pick up any weight they will allow us to carry.

It’s about so much more than the products we sell, it’s about the community we get to pour back into!
