We are a nonprofit organization not connected to the shelter! We do not have a facility only a group of volunteers dedicated to saving lives!
Our members are concerned about the care and well-being of animals. We are an all-volunteer, state-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals. No officers or members are compensated. We receive no funds from any federal, state or local government agency.

Please keep Alice Simmons and the Purrfect Hearts Cat Rescue family in your thoughts and prayers. As many of you know, they are local to Wilson NC. They had a devasting fire last night. They are in need of our support. Please consider helping in any way that you can. The Wilson County Humane Society is totally heartbroken,

Has a foster.
Pic 1: Meet Bluey !! A 1 year old, 40 lb boy that has received all his shots. He does need to be neutered yet.
Still needs a foster. Pic 2: Chauncey a sweet male weighing approximately 60 lbs and is also vaccinated. Needs his neuter still!
They both have a wonderful rescue just need shorter term fosters while they complete vetting!
If you can help foster either of these sweet boys please text Sharon at 989-305-9815. We supply everything needed while in your care.

Rescue never stops, even on holidays. Sherry with Together No Tether asked if we could help with a cat left behind when owners were hospitalized. Today was his Freedom Day 🇺🇸 . Thank you Wake SPCA . It takes a village and team work 💪
