Recent reports have uncovered a new security risk—researchers successfully bypassed ChatGPT’s safeguards to generate malware that extracts saved passwords from Google Chrome’s Password Manager.

By using role-playing techniques, they convinced ChatGPT to create harmful code, demonstrating a potential AI-powered threat to stored credentials.
