A little Kansas weather wasn't about to slow down this crew.

This weekend, members of the Conco team took on the Wichita Gladiator Dash, battling mud, water, obstacles, and some severe weather along the way. While the conditions may have been challenging, our Conconians showed the same determination and grit they bring to the jobsite every day.

We're proud of our team for stepping up, embracing the challenge, and representing Conco both on and off the jobsite.

Congratulations to everyone who crossed the finish line, and to those who discovered that crawling through mud is harder than you think.

There's nothing better than seeing a project come to life, and even better when the intended audience is kids.

We recently joined the City of Derby to celebrate the completion of improvements at High Park, including a new splash pad, playground, and pickleball courts. Judging by the smiles, we'd say the new amenities will get plenty of use this summer.

We'd be lying if we said a few of us weren't tempted to cool off in the splash pad ourselves. Fortunately, we resisted... this time.

Thank you to the City of Derby for the opportunity to help create a space where families can gather, play and make memories for years to come.

We’re proud to partner with the City of Goddard, Legacy Bank, Schaefer Architecture and Baughman as Legacy Bank Park officially breaks ground this week.

Projects like this are about more than construction. They create spaces where communities gather, families connect and memories are made for generations to come.

We’re honored to help bring this vision to life and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on May 28.

Conco recently welcomed our summer interns with an afternoon of yard games, great conversation and even better tacos.

A big thank you to our own Damian Mata and Michoacan Express for bringing the food and helping make the event a great time for the team. Safe to say the tacos were a hit.

This week we had the opportunity to recognize and celebrate our Framing and Drywall Crews for their hard work, craftsmanship and commitment to excellence. These teams continue to set the standard through their performance, attention to detail and dedication on every job site.

We’re proud to have Conconians who represent the teamwork, grit and work ethic that define Conco each and every day.

Last night was a beautiful evening celebrating the completion of the EP2 Initiative at Exploration Place, including the new Adventure Playscape and community gathering spaces.

Conco Construction was honored to be part of the project team, serving as the builder of the new Wichita Foundation Amphitheater — a space designed to bring the community together for concerts, movies, and events for years to come.

The night was a powerful reminder that the best part of construction is seeing people gather, connect, and celebrate in the spaces you helped create.
