Today is a sad day for us, but significant developments occurred over the past few months making this inevitable. We have made the strategic decision to close the Eastside location and concentrate our efforts on the Westside location, Cars & Coconuts and our food trucks. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our staff, who have been like family to us and to everyone for their unwavering support over the years.

We are suckers for animals and local charities. On October 4th please join us at Pumpkins for Paws. Tickets are currently selling for $10 with proceeds going to benefit the Valley Center Animal League.

Yesterday morning our owner had to have major back surgery called an ALIF with spinal fusion after a horrific accident 8 months ago. Please keep him and his family in your prayers while he is recovering. While he is recovering, stop by either locations so he doesn’t have to worry about us too much. Thank you!

Last night we had our 1st night car show at the Sharky’s location out East. Thank you for showing up! We want to continue to grow Cars and Coconuts and have something free for all those who want to join us so we are working on the next police sanctioned meet. Thank you for all those who attended!

Breaking news, hunger issues in Wichita resolved after going to locally owned Hawaiian restaurant!

We will be closing on Monday September 1st at both locations so staff can celebrate their time off with family and friends. It also happens to be the owner’s birthday. Coincidence? Maybe but either way enjoy your Labor Day and we will be back to normal operations.

Our beautiful little girl turned 15 years old today. She’s not only intelligent, but is turning to be a great athlete. She’s is growing up too quickly but we are so proud of who she is and what she accomplishes each and every day.

Last night we were out at the Vietnamese night market and it was pretty awesome. Our daughter, Bella, was helping take orders and making snow cones. Well, today is her 15th birthday so if you see her please wish her a Happy Birthday! She’s probably one of the best kids you’ll ever meet!
