Parking this year will be a challenge. We are working to identify areas that folks can park for free while cleaning up the river.

We've got numbers from last week's cleanup event! Yahoo!!!

Starting with the volunteers, because y'all are THE most important part of this effort. 882 folks gave their Saturday morning (and their muscles) to pulling trash from the Ark River in Wichita's downtown corridor.

We are still getting the bag and weight totals in from Saturday's cleanup and pulling together photos. What a great event - fantastic weather, amazing sponsors, and INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEERS!

Getting closer! Word is that the t-shirts have just arrived. The Ark River Cleanup Event Committee meets year-round, and it’s down to crunch time.
