What’s new in the shop today?

Scout Productions was happy to add 4 JBL Professional PRX 812’s to our inventory. This brings our total inventory of PRX series speakers to 22 boxes total!

The JBL PRX 812’s are a 12 inch two-way speaker powered by a built in 1500 watt amplifier with XLR, 1/4” and RCA inputs making them great for rentals, satellite speakers, monitors, delays, fills, ceremony systems, and just about anywhere else you need coverage! At 40 pounds, these boxes are easy to pick up and small enough to fit in your car!

Scout Productions was happy to provide audio and lighting for this event to close out our weekend. Our JBL PRX powered by Crown amplifiers brought the sound, while Shure UHFR picked it up with Point Source Audio headset mics and a Audio-Technica lectern microphone. All mixed down with our new Midas M32R console.

On the lighting side, our CHAUVET EZ Wash Hex provided simple, battery powered uplighting to accent the room.

Spring has officially sprung!

Lot of events going out this month with another 4 going out this past week.

From the special events side of our world, we were happy to provide full audio for the Baltimore Jewish Council alongside our friends Adam Oberfeld of Obie Productions and Focal Point Productions.

From the festival side, we were happy to make it happen for The Hall CP with their annual jazz festival. Over the day, 5 acts graced the stage including Crush Funk Brass and Julieta Eugenio with the evening closing out with The JoGo Project

Our new Midas M32R was able to provide the mixing surface for our special events while our M32 full sizes and ACORE racks (M32C over DL32 with system processing) took care of the rest!

As usual, these events ran with JBL Professional PRX & SRX series speakers along with our Clair I5B subs.

Scout Productions is happy to add a Midas M32R console to our collection. Great for corporate/special events, broadcast and other lower input shows, this board completes our M series of consoles. From the full size M32, to M32R’s, to our ACORE racks with M32C’s built in, we can provide any version of these consoles to fit your needs along with both the Midas DL16 and DL32 snakes.

Whew! What a week!

After 6 shows and over 80 hours of crew labor, our team pulled off another run of events, seamlessly bringing high quality event production to a multitude of event types. From rentals to corporate/special events to festivals, Scout Productions handles it all.

We were recently asked to hop onboard with Roland Park Country School to provide audio services for their middle school production of Alice’s Rock & Roll Adventure.

After a week of rehearsals, around 50 student cast members, 16 channels of Shure QLXD, and a talented tech team, the show was able to go off smoothly with 4 shows over a span of a 3 day weekend.
