The Color Imprint

My color practice is deepening today.

I’ve been working with these color frequencies in breathwork and meditations for a few months. A reminder that healing takes time to unfold so always be patient and trust the wisdom of the body, heart, and spirit.

On canvas, these washes have become symbolic of a new energy I’ve resourced, one I’ve been using personally to restore and reconnect with healthy feminine energy

This new work is calling for a deeper immersive experience. I want to share my color practice with you—how I use color for healing, restoration, and renewal.

As I’ve painted these, I’ve saved each color wash as its own card, paired with notes on the restorative energy it carries. Over time, these cards will grow into a collection—each one becoming a guide for a color breath work practice, a way to intentionally breathe in the energy of that color and let it restore what’s needed.

Family Art Club for Homeschool Families

I would love to invite you to join me for Family Art Club at space in Wheat Ridge. This once-a-month gathering is created especially for homeschool families who want to slow down, connect, and create together.

Inspired by my work as a healing art practitioner, we learn to intuitively work with color to support the imagination.

Rooted in the values of Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf philosophies, Family Art Club encourages curiosity, self-expression, and learning through color play.

Each month, families will:

Explore meditative color washes and intuitive painting
Build a personal “color language”
Connect with other homeschool families in a supportive creative space
Create artwork that will be shared in our Community Art Show on December 10 from 3:00–5:30 PM

Coming back to these beautiful washes today, going deeper and exploring the emotional healing energy of each hue.

I started this series a few weeks ago, focusing on healing the feminine flame within.

These color washes came to me after experiencing a beautiful breath work ceremony in Vancouver this past summer. Through this work, I discovered that I had to resource healthy feminine energy into my life and these were the colors that washed over me.

As I worked with these colors in breath work, I slowly started to bring back the colors I needed energetically to reset and restore what it means to have and feel healthy, divine feminine energy surround me.

We can always self source the colors we need to shift energies that no longer serve us.

That moment when you start to paint…

Expanding and exploring more of the Infinite Light Series today. I experienced so much joy working with these colors that I found myself exploring them again today.

As I reflect back, these colors tell a story of the infinite light from within that we can source anytime. This love of self, this awareness brings an infinite source of confidence and renewal.

I found myself working with these colors during my morning color mediation breathwork practice. Creating space to receive these colors and wash these within and around me as a way to embrace a more resilient way of being.
